Maryland State Police Investigating Vehicle Shooting on I-70

It happened Thursday night in Carroll County.

 

MOUNT AIRY, MD.  (LG)  Maryland State Police are investigating a shooting that was reported on Interstate 70 Thursday night in Carroll County.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., troopers responded to a call for a vehicle being shot at in the area of eastbound I-70, near the Mount Airy exit, said authorities in a press release.

The female victim was driving a white Kia and told investigators that her car sustained damage.  After an inspection was done by troopers, it revealed that the victim’s car had been shot at numerous times.  Fortunately, the victim, who was the only one in the vehicle at the time, was not injured.
