AAA says most will be traveling by car.
Towson, Md. (KK) If you plan to travel between December 23rd and January 1st, you’ll be sharing the roads and skies with more than two million other Marylanders. That’s according to AAA Mid-Atlantic. Christine Delise with AAA says slightly higher gas prices won’t stop many people from getting behind the wheel.
“We’re looking at prices that are higher than last year around 13 cents a gallon, but they’re still fairly reasonable. They’ve been on the decline now since November, and that typically doesn’t deter holiday travelers,” said Delise.
AAA estimates they’ll help around 50,000 drivers of disabled cars over the ten day holiday period.
