Three Arrested For Drug Offenses

Police also found quantities of crack, marijuana, cash.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Authorities confiscated a large amount of drugs Friday from an apartment off of Waverly Drive, and arrested three people.

Frederick Police say officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit and the County’s Narcotics Investigative Section served a search and seizure warrant on the apartment after making a controlled purchase of crack cocaine from   Darius Hakeem Jeffrey, 28, of Frederick.

During the operation, authorities found more t than 625 grams of marijuana and a half gram of crack after a search of 26-year-old Shawn Joseph’s person. Also seized was $4,616 . Repton Lloyd Abrahams, 29, who resides at the apartment, was also placed under arrest.

 

The charges against Jeffrey include:

Abrahams is charged with:

The charges against Joseph are:

(1) Count possession of heroin

(1) Count of PWID heroin

(1) Count of PWID heroin in school zone

(1) Count possession of crack cocaine

(1) Count of PWID crack cocaine

(1) Count of PWID crack cocaine in school zone
Before serving the search and seizure warrant, Jeffrey was stopped by officers on West Patrick Street. He was placed under arrest for driving on a suspended license and for having an outstanding warrant from the Sheriff’s Office.

All three were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

Frederick Police say they thank the Sheriff’s Office of its assistance during this operation.
