Former FCPS Substitute Teacher Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

He was taken into custody on Friday.

Frederick, Md (KM). The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a substitute teacher on child pornography offenses. Robert Allen Beck, 50, was taken into custody on Friday, and charged 10 counts of possession of child pornography, and distribution of child pornography.

“We were alerted to the possibility of the sharing of child pornography from a location in Frederick County back in October,” says Major Tim Clarke with the Sheriff’s Office. “An investigation was started in October and was culminated today {Friday}.”

Clarke says no children were harmed or involved in Beck’s alleged activities. He also says the investigation is continuing into this incident.

Meanwhile, the School System says Beck has been fired as a substituted teacher.
