Police Charge Suspect In Stabbing

He was arrested Saturday morning.

 

Frederick,Md (KM) One man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing Saturday morning. Travis Aaron Ridenour was taken into custody, and charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Frederick Police Officers responded to the 1500 block of Dockside Drive at around 5:13 AM, and located a victim suffering from a stab wound to his hand. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds which are not considered life-threatening.

Through their investigation, police learned that the victim and the suspect got into an argument which turned heated. The suspect picked up a large kitchen knife and violently stabbed at the victim, who used his hand to block the knife.

Ridenour was taken to the Adult Detention Center.
