Outdoor burning is allowed, including recreational fires.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office has lifted the ban on outdoor burning.
It was put in effect last Friday during the powerful windstorm which blew through the area. At that time, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources classified the fire danger as High due to strong winds and low relative humidity. But the situation has improved since then, and the burn ban has been lifted.
Outdoor burning is permitted, including recreational fires.
