Snow Emergency Plan Lifted In Frederick City

It was lifted at 4PM Wednesday.

 

 

Frederick, Md (K M)  The City of Frederick has lifted the Snow Emergency Plan as of 4:00 PM on Wednesday.  That means motorists can park  on designated Snow Emergency Routes as they have been cleared of snow.

The city’s parking decks will resume normal operations on Thursday at 8 AM.

The Frederick Community Action Agency says the Foodbank and the Community Health Center are closed Wednesday, but the Soup Kitchen will be serving a free evening meal between 5:30 PM and 6;30 PM tonight.

Officials at Hood College, Mount Saint Mary’s University and Frederick Community College say all three institutions are closed today   Afternoon and evening activities have been canceled, including tonight’s FCC Board of Trustees meeting.

For Mount Saint Mary’s, that includes the Emmitsburg and Frederick campuses, ARCC and the National Grotto Shrine.
