* WHAT…Heavy snow. Storm total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
inches expected by this evening. Locally higher amounts are
possible in the higher elevations.
* WHERE…Portions of northern and western Maryland, northwestern
Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.
* WHEN…Until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on difficult travel conditions. Be
prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.
With the wet snow, be prepared for a power outage as well.

Areas covered by the Winter Storm Warning include Frederick, Washington and Carroll Counties, and northwest Howard and Montgomery Counties. In addition, western Loudon County, Virginia, and Jefferson, Morgan and Berkeley Counties in West Virginia.
