The teacher was assaulted after walking out of an elementary school.
TOWSON, Md. (AP) – Authorities say two suspects have been arrested after a carjacking at a Maryland school where four girls allegedly assaulted a teacher and stole her car.
Baltimore County police say two girls, both juveniles, have been arrested, and that they are continuing to pursue the other two suspects.
Authorities say the girls approached the teacher outside Villa Cresta Elementary School in Parkville as she was walking to her car Friday afternoon.
Police say the girls knocked the woman’s cell phone out of her hand, and that she dropped her purse as she fell while trying to run away.
The girls took the phone and the purse, which contained the teacher’s car keys.
Two suspects left in the vehicle they had driven, while the other two left in the teacher’s car.
