Frederick, MD (KK) – Ofifcials with Antietam National Battlefield are proposing improvements to the trail system, but they’re looking for public input. For the next month, residents can comment on a proposal to make improvements to the trail system. Thinking about restoring the visitor’s center at Antietam National Battlefield led officials to plan for improving the trail system all together.
“Based on what we hear back from the public, we may very well possibly take a look at some of what we’ve proposed or tweak it a little bit,” said Susan Trail, the superintendent at Antietam National Battlefield.
