He was taken into custody late Friday night.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man has been charged with weapons offenses following his arrest Friday evening. Nanshon Aaron Grant was taken into custody in the 500 block of Hollyberry Way.
Police say they were dispatched to that area shortly before 10:00 PM for a burglary in progress involving a man with a gun. When they arrived, officers confronted Grant who came out of the front door in the residence. Authorities say he had a handgun in his waistband.
An investigation determined he was let into the house by one of the residents. It also revealed that Grant was not authorized to have a handgun on his person.
Grant was taken into custody without incident. He’s charged with reckless endangerment, illegal possession of ammunition, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction and having a handgun on his person.
