Charges ranged from drug offenses to sex abuse and rape charges.
FREDERICK, MD. (LG) It was a busy morning Friday for a Frederick County Grand Jury. Many indictments were handed down ranging from drug offenses to sex abuse and rape charges, according to Charles Smith, Frederick County States Attorney.
A Cumberland woman is charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs. Daysia Flores, is facing possession of cocaine and alprazolam offenses. A co-defendant is also facing the same charges, Samantha Montgomery, from Cumberland.
Sex abuse against a minor is the charge for Mauricio Flores-Alfaro. “He is also charged with 2nd degree rape and 3rd degree sex offense,” said Smith.
A Frederick man is facing robbery related offenses. “Jamarie Parker is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, 2nd degree assault, resisting and interfering with arrest and attempted theft, along with co-defendant Ange Kouame, from Frederick.
Burglary charges are following a Baltimore man, who was indicted on Friday. Christopher Holcomb is charged with 1st degree burglary, 2nd degree burglary, 4th degree burglary of a dwelling and a storehouse, as well as theft.
Second degree child abuse charges were lodged against Marie Alvarez, of Frederick. She is also charged with 2nd degree assault and neglect of a minor.
And last but not least, Kyeron Cottingham is facing drug offenses and driving without a license charge.
