Frederick, Md (KM) For those who travel through the intersection of Butterfly Lane at McCain Drive and Contender Way, the traffic light t there has begun operating in a flashing mode as of Thursday, May 10th. Frederick City officials say this will give motorists a chance to adjust to the new signal.
The traffic light will flash yellow at Butterfly Lane. It will flash red at McCain Drive and Contender Way.
On May 15th, the traffic light will begin full operations.
The traffic signal is located near Butterfly Ridge Elementary School which is currently under construction.
