Police Received 126 Calls for Help Tuesday Night

Frederick, MD (KK) – No injuries have been reported to Frederick Police from the storms that have hit the area over the past few days. Frederick Police received more than 120 calls within three hours on Tuesday night. With more rain on the way, we won’t be getting a break any time soon. Michelle Bowman, public information coordinator with Frederick Police, says often times, it can be hard to tell if a roadway is flooded when it’s dark out, so if you must travel, do it during the day.

“Yesterday we saw some new roads pop up that were not closed the night before because the ground is so saturated right now. So we’re expecting to see more and more roads take on water at a quicker pace,” said Bowman.

Bowman said it was not just one area that was hit.
