Bank Robbery Suspect Indicted By Grand Jury On Friday

The panel also indicted four other people.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The suspect in the April 25th robbery of the M &T Bank on North Court Street was indicted on Friday. Nicholas Alan Cahill-Lane, 28, was charged by the Grand Jury with armed robbery, robbery, 2nd-degree assault, theft between $500 and less than $1500, and making a false statement about a destructive device. Police arrested Cahill-Lane a few hours after the holdup.

Four other people were also indicted on Friday:

* Seth Lyle Gerwin, 25, Middletown, Md., whose charged with two counts of 1st-degree assault, two counts of 2nd-degree assault, two counts of malicious destruction of property and one count of reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on April 12th, 2018.

* Andrew Thomas Schultz, 31, Frederick, Md., whose charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on April 13th, 2018.

* Stephen Andrew McCall, 29, Frederick, Md., whose charged with possession with intent to distribute 10 grams or more of marijuana, and exceeding the maximum speed limit for an incident which occurred on April 13th, 2018

* Anthony Dewayne Hines, 46, Keedysville, Md., whose charged with 1st-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary of a dwelling, theft scheme of between $25,000 to under $100,000 for incidents which occurred between February 5th, 2018, and April 5th, 2018.

Their cases now move to the Circuit Court where a trial date will be set.

Prosecutors say an indictment is not a finding of guilt, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
