Frederick, MD (KK) – The deadline is approaching to register to vote in the Primary Election. If you’re not already registered or if you need to change your name, address, or party affiliation, you must do so before 9 p.m. on June 5. Early voting for the Primary Election begins June 14.
There’s also still time to apply for an absentee ballot. If you choose to have it e-mailed, Harvey says there’s one more step you need to take.
“While the ballot is e-mailed to you, you still have to print it, vote it, and either mail it or bring it back into us before the polls close at 8 p.m. on June 26,” said Stuart Harvey, Election Director for the Frederick County Board of Elections.
