Reward Offered For Fatal Shooting Of Pizza Delivery Man

 

The individual was murdered late Monday in Burtonsville night while making deliveries.

 

Burtonsville, Md (KM) Domino’s Pizza, Incorporated, is offering a $7500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who killed one of its delivery drivers. Montgomery County Police say Francesco Michael DiGiovanni, 45, of Rockville, was shot and killed late Monday night in the Burtonsville area.

Detectives say at around 11:14 PM on Monday,  May 21st,  the county’s Emergency Communications Center (911) received numerous calls that night about shots fired in the area of Aldora Circle in Burtonsville. Officers responded to the area of Ballinger Drive and Autumn Glen Circle and found DiGiovanni, who was in his Jeep Patriot, had been shot in the upper body. Medics attempted life-saving measures, but DiGiovanni succumbed his wounds.

Investigators say DiGiovannni was shot in his vehicle along Van Horn Way near Ballinger Drive. He then drove to Ballinger Drive where his vehicle stopped at Autumn Glen Circle.

Those who call Crime Solvers can be eligible for an additional reward of up to $10,000. .
