Closures scheduled for June 1-3, 2018
Thurmont, Md. (DG) – Parts of Catoctin Mountain Park will be closed effective today at 11:30 a.m. due to an increase in security.
The closures will remain in effect until 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
During the closure, Park Central Road will be closed between the Camp Misty Mount and Camp Greentop entrances, and trails to Blue Ridge Summit Overlook and Hog Rock will not be available.
All other roads and trails will remain open.
