The cause is under investigation.
Westminster, Md (KM) A house under construction in the Westminster area caught fire Saturday night.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says 20 fire fighters responded to the 3435 Littlestown Pike at around 10:19 PM,. and spend 30-minutes bringing the flames under control.
Damage is estimated at $5,000 to the two-story, wood frame structure. There were no injuries.
Officials say the fire originated in a wall assembly in the rear exterior wall, but the cause remains under investigation.
The fire was discovered by a neighbor.
