Frederick Police Investigate Shots Fired Incident In Lucas Village

There was property damage, but no injuries.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM)  No one was hurt when shots were fired last Friday evening in the Lucas Village community.

Frederick Police say officers were dispatched at around 10:43 PM to the area of Hope Circle and Pennsylvania Avenue, and found several vehicles and a home had been struck.

\Residents were interviewed and evidence was collected.

During their investigation, police received information that an occupant of a white sedan with a sunroof may have been involved in this incident. That vehicle had left the scene before officers arrived.

Police say they  have been conducting  frequent patrol checks in the Lucas Village neighborhood, responding to citizens complaints about drug activity and other nuisances. Officers will continue their frequent patrols. Authorities are also working with the Frederick Housing Authority on addition methods to deter illegal activity.
