Police Arrest Four In Connection With Strong Arm Robbery

The victim had arranged with one of them to purchase marijuana.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Four people have been charged in connection with a strong arm robbery in Frederick Friday afternoon. Harmon Matthew Pritchard, 22, of Gaithersburg; Juwan Matthew Favors, 20, of Frederick; Robert Brent Higgins, 22, of Frederick; and Zachary Austin Sullivan, 20, were arrested following a traffic stop.

They are each charged with 2nd-degree assault, robbery and theft from $100 to under $1500..

Shortly after 1:00 PM, Frederick Police responded to the area of Stoney Creek Road and Waterside Drive for a strong-arm robbery. Officers say the 19-year-old victim told them he was going to meet a person he knew in order to purchase marijuana. That individual and three other people showed up, and robbed the victim of his wallet and cash.

The victim provided officers information about one of the suspects, and the vehicle they were traveling in.  A lookout was broadcast.  The vehicle was located by a Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy who conducted a traffic stop in Walkersville.  The four suspects were apprehended and taken to Frederick Police headquarters for interviews.
