21 Year Old Injured In Motorcycle Crash

Driver was trying to drive between two cars in I-70

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Maryland State Police are investigating an accident between a motorcycle and a car on Interstate-70 in Washington County that left a 21-year-old seriously injured.

The crash happened Sunday shortly after 11 AM on I-70 westbound by the exit for Route 40 in Hagerstown. Police say Alexander Cosner was driving his Yamaha motorcycle and attempted to drive between two vehicles. He drove up the center line and struck the rear of a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan and was ejected.

Cosner was taken to the Meritus Medical Center. The driver of the van was not injured.
