Two Brothers Arrested For Assault, Home Invasion Robbery

Police say they broke into a hotel room robbed two guests.

 

Gaithersburg, Md. Two brothers are charged after they broke into a hotel room in Gaithersburg on Sunday morning. Montgomery County Police arrested Sean Wilson, 31, and Robert Wilson. 33. Authorities say the two broke into a room at the Extended Stay America hotel at 201 Professional Drive in to rob the two guests..

Police and fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to that hotel at around 11:28  AM for a report of a stabbing. A man and a woman inside were assaulted by two individuals: .one had a baseball bat;  and the other a knife. Investigators say the man was assaulted with the baseball and the knife, and the woman was assaulted with the bat. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Wilson brothers were located in another room, and taken into custody. They were also taken to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the assault.

Both Sean and Robert Wilson are charged with one count each of home invasion robbery, and two counts each of 1st- and 2nd-degree assault.

Police believe the Wilson brothers had a prior association with both victims.
