Bicyclist Charged With Traffic Violation, Other Offenses

Police say he also had two open warrants.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have charged a bicyclist with failure to stop at a red light, fleeing and eluding and making a false statement to an officer. Jayson Drew Mosley, 32, of Frederick was arrested on Wednesday..

At around 8:00 AM that day, a bicyclist was observed running a red light and was almost struck by two vehicles. An officer tried to stop him, but was not successful.

Mosley was arrested near Mullinex Park at around 2:00 PM  after  that same officer provided a detailed description of the bicyclist. .

At first, police say Mosley gave officers false names. When his true identity was learned, authorities say Mosley was found to have two open warrants which were also served at the time of his arrest.
