Two Arrested, Drugs Confiscated In Search & Seizure Operation On Wed.

The operation was conducted by the HIDTA group.

 

Two arrests were made in Frederick on Wednesday as part of a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area operation.

HIDTA members consist of The Sheriff’s Office along with Frederick and Brunswick Police, and Homeland Security Investigations..  They served a search and seizure warrant on an apartment in the 1600 block of Misty Meadow Circle. They found more than 300 Xanax Bars, cash, drug packaging materials and digital scales.

Manual De Jesus Sepras, 22, of Frederick, and Christopher Alej Padilla Arias, 23, also of Frederick. were taken into custody. De Jesus is charged  with possession of codeine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Arias is charged with possession of Xanax, possession with intent to distribute Xanax and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

De Jesus was released on personal recognizance, and Arias is being  held without bond.

Authorities say the operation resulted following an investigation of numerous complaints of drug trafficking at that apartment.
