Large Quantity Of Drugs Confiscated During Traffic Stop Sunday In Frederick

Local man arrested for narcotics offenses.

 

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man has been charged with drug offenses following a traffic stop Sunday night.

Carl Blackwood, 31, was a passenger in a car which was pulled over by Frederick Police at 10:40 PM. The officer who stopped the vehicle  Blackwood  was in requested a drug dog do a sniff of the vehicle. The dog indicated a presence of drugs.

During a search, police found 2.8-grams of marijuana, and 4.6-grams of PCP and LSD. The drugs had a street value of $460.

Blackwood was taken into custody and charged with one count each of  possession with intent to distribute PCP/LSD Hallucingen, possession of with to distribute marijuana and possession drugs (not marijuana).
