Police are conducting a death investigation.
Frederick, Md (KM) A death investigation is underway by the Frederick Police Department. Lt. Kirk Henneberry says officers and medics were dispatched to Harmon Park at 88 Winchester Street at around 1:47 Monday afternoon after a visitor to the park found a body era the playground equipment.. “EMS {emergency medical services} got out there; police got out there. EMS quickly determined the person was dead,” he says. “At that point, we got our Criminal Investigation Division out there. Detective Dave Dewees is our lead investigator.”
The individual has not been identified, but police say it’s an adult male. Lt. Henneberry says investigators are trying to determined that individual’s identity.
He says no cause of death has been determined. “We’re working it as a death investigation. Once we get more details, especially from the medical examiner, we’ll have an idea,” he says.
