Quantity Of Drugs Located During Traffic Stop

The driver was  taken into custody.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police say a substantial amount of narcotics were confiscated following a traffic stop on Wednesday night.

An officer initiated the stop in the area of Monocacy Boulevard and Route 26 when the driver didn’t stop for a red light. The officer asked for a police dog to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. The canine indicated the presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle netted 11 vials of heroin, crack and powdered cocaine.

Adam Joseph Gibson, 34, was taken into custody, and charged with two counts of possession of cocaine, and one count each of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
