The blaze broke out at around 3 AM
Clarksburg, Md. (KK) – A fire at a recycling center in Clarksburg was challenging for firefighters.
Emergency crews returning from another fire at around 3 AM, saw smoke coming from the recycling center on Route 355 in Montgomery County.
There are no hydrants in the area, so crews brought in tankers full of water.
No injures have been reported.
Route 355 is closed in both directions between Routes 109 and 121.
Authorities say no one was in the building at the time of the fire. The investigation into the cause is continuing.
