Cumberland, Md (KM) Fire fighters in Allegany County battled a house fire early Friday morning.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 25 fire fighters responded 11,626 Brashear Hollow Road in Cumberland shortly at around 3:54 AM, and spent 30-minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.
Investigators say the two-story, wood frame home was abandoned, and there is no damage estimate from this fire.
The cause remains under investigation, but authorities say the fire originated in the interior of the house.
The fire was discovered by a passerby.
