September 1st

3rd Annual Vetfest

Vetfest is an annual benefit concert in Brunswick benefiting the non-profit organization Building Veterans. There will be great music, delicious food, Veteran support and fun for the entire family. For more information, click here.

First Saturday

First Saturday in Downtown Frederick means late-night shopping, live entertainment and in-store events until 9 pm. This Saturday support your local downtown and experience more than 200 local shops, restaurants, galleries, wineries, distilleries, and breweries.

 

September 8th

In The Street

Join 930 WFMD at In The Street in Downtown Frederick! In The Street is a day of fun featuring children’s activities, local art organizations, regional artisans, history, sports, beer/wine gardens, delicious food and four stages of entertainment.

 

September 9th

Basket Bingo

The New Market Volunteer Fire Company will be holding a Basket Bingo at 2 p.m. on September 9th. Its $25 per person to get signed up and there will be a 50/50 raffle and kitchen refreshments available. For reservations, contact Ginger at 301-305-4530 or Cathy at 301-401-5760.

 

September 15th

Benefit Car Show

A benefit car show will be held on Saturday, September 15th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cedar Grove Christian Church in Inwood, West Virginia. The registration fee is $10 and the first 25 entries will receive a dash plaque. Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded. There will be door prizes from local businesses, music and free food concessions. Proceeds will benefit “The Community Network Inc.”, a local charity in Martinsburg, VW. The Maryland Wine Festival
