Two-Vehicle Collision In Martinsburg, WV, Leaves One Dead

One of the vehicles fled the scene.

 

Martinsburg, VW (KM) A Martinsburg, West Virginia man died Tuesday night following a collision between a motorcycle and truck.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says at around 9:00 PM, the bike operated by Michael Kilmer, 38, collided with the truck at the intersection of Edwin Miller Boulevard and Warm Springs Avenue in Martinsburg. . Kilmer was rushed to Berkeley Medical Hospital where he was pronounced dead..

Witnesses told deputies the truck pulled into the nearby AC&T Exxon station after the crash, but kept on going along Warm Springs Avenue. They say the vehicle was late 90’s truck, possibly a Ford, which was dark in color.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
