Frederick, Md (KM) A two-vehicle crash in Frederick County late Sunday night killed a Virginia man.
State Police say Richard Allen Manlove,78, of Virginia Beach was traveling eastbound along Interstate 70 near Hollow Road in Middletown. For unknown reasons, his Ford Fusion left the roadway and struck a tractor trailer which was parked along the shoulder because it had a flat tire.
Responding medics pronounced Manlove dead at the scene. The truck driver, idenfitied as Latoya Vaneetra Richards, 36, of Charleston. VW, was not hurt.
Troopers closed the two eastbound lanes of I-70 until around 3:30 Monday morning to conduct their investigation.
