Frederick, MD (KK) – The Dashing Emancipation fashion show is coming back this year on October 2. The event highlights local boutiques and those who attend will hear from Heather Moreno from the Heartly House. That’s one of the organizations the proceeds will go to benefit. The other is Love 146, a group working to end child trafficking.
“It’s a huge event to focus on setting people free from enslavement and sex trafficking. What we do is we’re just going to highlight the aspect that everyone has the opportunity to be free and we’re coming together to fight for freedom,” said Ana Blickenstaff with the event.
Dancing Emancipation will be held at McClintock Distilling on October 2 at 7 p.m. You can get tickets through the Facebook event page, Dashing Emancipation 2018.
