Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police Drug Enforcement Unit Officers took one man into custody on Tuesday for drug offenses. Charles Abernathy Moon, 33, is charged with the following:
Possession (Heroin)
Possession (Fentanyl)
PWID (Heroin)
PWID (Fentanyl)
PWID (Fentanyl/Heroin Mix)
PWID in School Zone
Authorities served a search and seizure warrant on Moon’s home along Huntwood Court. Detectives say this action follows an investigation last month which linked Moon to drug transactions involving the sale of fentanyl and heroin to Frederick County residents. Officers secured the residence and found quantities of suspected heroin, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Moon was placed under arrest and taken to the Adult Detention Center.
In addition to the Frederick Police, the Sheriff’s Office and the State Police assisted in this operation.
