The cause remains under investigation.
Jefferson, Md (KM) Three residents were displaced following a house fire near Jefferson on Saturday morning.
The Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services Division says fire fighters were dispatched at around 8:26 AM to the 4900 block of Valley Pine Drive for a report of smoke in the building.
A tanker task force was established. Fire fighters made an aggressive attack on the fire which was located in the basement and the first floor. They also searched the home for any occupants, but everyone was able to get out prior to the arrival of fire and rescue personnel.
It took 40 fire fighters 25 minutes to control the flames. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office.
