One adult male was found deceased in a room.
CARROLL COUNTY, MD. (LG) A fatal house fire in Finksburg is under investigation by the Deputy State Fire Marshals’ Office.
Authorities say the 9-1-1 call came in at approximately 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning. The one story single family dwelling, located at 3134 Slasman Road, is a house that rents out three rooms.
Officials say it took approximately 50 firefighters 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. Once the fire was extinguished firefighters found a deceased adult male in one of the rooms. The victim’s name has not been released.
Damage is estimated at $200,000.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation’s Division is assisting with the investigation.
