It’s taking place on the day after Thanksgiving.
FREDERICK, MD. (LG) The Downtown Frederick Partnership will be celebrating their 16th annual Frosty Friday on Friday, November 23, 2018. “Stores will open from as early as 8 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.”, said LeAnn Dickerson, Marketing and Promotions Manager.
A lot of events are on tap:
› Grab an early breakfast at Beans & Bagels, Brewer’s Alley, Family Meal, Frederick Coffee Co. & Café, GOOD juju, Perfect Blend Café, Pretzel and Pizza Creations, Serendipity Market & ore, and VINI CULTURE wine bar & cafe, each opening at 8AM.
› Kickoff Frosty Friday by receiving a gift bag (for the first 100 participants) at 30 N Market St at 9AM featuring unique wrapped presents from local shops and businesses, gift and happy hour guides and other fun holiday treats.
› Take a wonderful winter Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride, leaving from 124 N Market St (Brewer’s Alley), 10am – 3pm, $12 per passenger. Pre-registration is required: bit.ly/downtownfrederick
› Come visit Santa at 30 N Market St! Take photos and exchange “ho ho ho’s” from 12-3pm, then Santa will be back for a second visit to Everedy Square & Shab Row at 7pm.
› Celebrate the new holiday tree lights with a Holiday Tree Lighting at 7th Street Fountain Park from 4pm-sundown!
› View twinkling lights, wreaths and trees decorated by community members, business and nonprofits at the Historical Society of Frederick County’s Festival of Trees (24 E Church St, 10AM-4PM).
› Earn a FREE gift at the Snowflake Tree (30 N Market St) by purchasing items from more than one Downtown Frederick merchant or restaurant. Show your receipts totaling more than $100 combined at the Snowflake Tree and pick your present! (while supplies last from 11AM – 4PM)
› Greet Moana, Elsa and Anna as they arrive at Everedy Square at 6PM!
