Area Police Take Down Drug Trafficking Operation In Frederick County

Five people were arrested.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Five individuals were arrested Thursday night by the Frederick High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area group.

Authorities says personnel from the Frederick Police, the Sheriff’s Office, Brunswick Police, Maryland State Police, the State’s Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department  of Homeland Security served search and seizure warrants at 7454 Sixes Bridge Road in Keymar; 441 Carrollton Drive; and 1218 Stillmeadow Court,  both in Frederick. They confiscated a large quantity of illegal narcotics, a handgun, vehicles used in drug trafficking, and a large amount of cash obtained from the sale of these narcotics.

Arrested in this operation were:

1. Gustavo Lesdesma Resendiz, 30, Frederick, MD (Additionally had 2 Outstanding out of County FTA warrants)

a. Possession of Cocaine

b. Possession with intent to distribute (PWID) Cocaine

c. Possession Paraphernalia

d. PWID Near School Property

2. Byron Rolando Vasquez Manchame, 30, Frederick, MD

a. Transport loaded handgun in Vehicle

b. Transport handgun in Vehicle

3. Angel Jimenez Rodriguez, 28, Keymar, MD

a. CDS Possession-Large Amount/Felony

b. Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine

c. Possession of Cocaine

d. Conspiracy Possession CDS

e. Conspiracy PWID CDS

f. Conspiracy Possession-Large Amount

4. Javier Tovar Campos, 37, Frederick, MD

a. CDS Possession-Large Amount/Felony

b. Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine

c. Possession of Cocaine

d. Conspiracy Possession CDS

e. Conspiracy PWID CDS

f. Conspiracy Possession-Large Amount

5. Agustin Tovar Campos, 22 Frederick, MD

a. CDS Possession-Large Amount/Felony

b. Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine

c. Possession of Cocaine

d. Conspiracy Possession CDS

e. Conspiracy PWID CDS

f. Conspiracy Possession-Large Amount

All five suspects were taken to the Adult Detention Center. Customs Enforcement Agents placed detainers on these individuals due to their immigration status.

Police say this operation resulted from five months of extensive investigation. They say it  dismantled an organization which had been dealing drugs in the area for quite some time.

Authorities say this is an ongoing investigation, and additional arrests and charges could be coming in the future.
