It involved a bogus check.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says it’s issued a summons for Monte Deshawn Murray,29. of Seaford, Delaware. He has been charged with two counts of forgery of private documents, two counts of issuing false documents, and one count each of theft of $1500 to under $25,000 and attempted theft of $1500 to under $25,000.
Authorities say in June, 2018, , a check was stolen from the victim’s mailbox by the suspect. Investigators say Murray then created a false check made out to himself, and deposited it into his bank account.
