Police Confiscate Cocaine Following Traffic Stop Wed.

The driver has been charged.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) About 14.3- grams of cocaine was seized during a traffic stop in Frederick early Wednesday morning.

Frederick Police says at around 1:20 AM, an officer observed a motorist committing a traffic violation in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. Contact was made with the driver identified as Deon Pryor.

The officer noticed some signs of drug activity while speaking with Pryor, and asked for a police canine to do a sniff of the vehicle. The dog indicated the presence of narcotics. Authorities say the vehicle was searched and the cocaine was found which has a street value of between $1,430.00 to $2,860.00, police say..

Pryor was taken into custody and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
