Frederick Woman Charged with Numerous Drug Offenses

This was the result of a heroin distribution drug investigation.

FREDERICK, MD.  (LG)   A 35 year old Frederick woman was arrested earlier this week and charged with drug offenses.

After receiving an anonymous tip, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office initiated a drug investigation during the Fall of 2018. Then on December 10th, a search and seizure warrant was executed in the 300 block of North Market Street.   As a result, Chimekie Tessa James was taken into custody.

Police said while searching the residence, James removed a paper towel from her pants and gave it to detectives. Authorities said inside the paper towel was 4 white vials of crack cocaine, 1 baggie of crack cocaine, and a folded one dollar bill containing heroin.

James is charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of CDS equipment, and possession of paraphernalia.
