Schools at 100% capacity will have enrollment restrictions
Frederick, MD 12/21/2018 (RD) A Frederick County Public Schools spokesperson has announced they will restrict out-of-district transfers at 26 schools in the 2019-2020 school year. Based on enrollment projections, the following schools will be at or near 100% capacity when schools open in September 2019, consequently, their enrollment will be limited to only those students who reside within each school’s attendance area.
there are 17 restricted elementary schools included in the restriction: Brunswick, Centerville, Deer Crossing, Green Valley, Hillcrest, Kemptown, Middletown (Elementary and Primary), Monocacy, New Market, Oakdale, Tuscarora, Urbana (at Sugarloaf), Valley, Walkersville, Waverley and Yellow Springs.
There are 5 restricted middle schools are Ballenger Creek, Crestwood, Monocacy, Oakdale and Urbana.
The are are 4 restricted high schools are Middletown, Tuscarora, Urbana and Walkersville.
