Assistant Biologist (925509)
General Summary
This position is responsible for performing a broad range of biological tests and procedures using standard scientific techniques and methods; and recording, analyzing and reporting results. The Assistant Biologist will apply an understanding of scientific laboratory methods and techniques with an ability to work well within a team. This position will support project work led by senior level staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Observes and executes activities consistent with study protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Laboratory Methods, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulations, and safety and health practices.
· With supervision performs various assays to support ongoing projects.
· Develops proficiency in data acquisition, data analysis, and reporting of results.
Assembler (927083)
Assembler is an entry-level helper with basic work skills. The Assembler is capable of physically performing most manual tasks associated with the manufacture of custom and standard products manufactured within the shop, including parts assembly, inking, packaging and cleanup.
