Police say at this time, it doesn’t appear to be foul play.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police are conducting a death investigation.
Authorities say fire and rescue units responded to the 200 block of West South Street at 9:01 AM for an unresponsive man laying in the sidewalk. Emergency personnel pronounced the individual deceased, and police were called to the scene.
Detectives say they were able to identity the man, but the identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The man’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Police say at this time, it does not appear the death is due to foul play or drugs.
