Large Quantities Of Drugs, Cash, Confiscated In Search & Seizure Operation in Frederick

Two people were arrested.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) A search and seizure operation in Frederick on Wednesday yielded a large amount of drugs and cash.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies from the Narcotics Investigation Section and Proactive Criminal Enforcement Team (PACE) and officers from the Frederick Police Drug Enforcement Unit entered a home in the 5300 block of Regal Court, and found a quantity of narcotics:

Marijuana: 2567.8 grams

Molly (Methylenedioxy/methamphetamine): 1236.8 grams

Crack/Cocaine: 290.6 grams

Marijuana Hash; 31 grams

Marijuana Edibles: 1000 grams

THC Vape Cartridges; 332 individual

Methadone pills:

3 handguns

1 rifle,

1000 rounds of ammunition

$14,078 in US Currency.

Authorities estimate the street value of drugs at between $60,000 and $100,000.

Ryan Given Young, 24, and Andrew Justice Brown, 23, both of Frederick, were arrested as part of the operation. The two are charged with a long list of drug offenses. Young is also charged with weapons offenses.

Young and Brown were transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
