Motorists may not park on Snow Emergency Routes.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Maryland State Police have put the Snow Emergency Plan in affect in Frederick and Washington Counties. That means motorists who are traveling should have snow tires on their vehicles, or chains. Studded tires are legal in Maryland from Nov. 1st to Mar. 31st.
The follow roads have been designated as Snow Emergency Routes in Frederick County:

State Police say during a Snow Emergency Plan, motorists may not park a vehicle on a highway designated as a Snow Emergency Route.
