…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 4 AM EST FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 inches
expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central and north-central Maryland and
northern Virginia including the far northern and western
suburbs of Washington and Baltimore, as well as the eastern
panhandle of West Virginia.

* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EST Friday. The
steadiest snow is expected this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions and
sidewalks. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening
commute, especially after sunset as temperatures fall below
freezing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
