Brunswick, Md (KM) Fire and rescue units responded to a reported house fire in Brunswick Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say fire fighters were sent to a home at 6 G Street at around 1:40 PM, and found a chimney fire with extension. The Rapid Intervention Task Force was called to the scene. Personnel spent 40-minutes bringing the flames under control.
There were no injuries.. One resident who was home at the time was displaced.
The cause and damage estimate remain under investigation.
