He was pulled from the water Sunday morning
Frederick, Md (DG) – Frederick Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Carroll Creek on Sunday morning.
Lt. Kirk Henneberry said a woman was walking along Carroll Creek in the area of South East Street around 8 AM when she saw the body and called police.
“Fire and EMS personelle got out there first and removed that person from the creek. They did provide some life saving attempts,” Lt. Henneberry said.
The man was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Lt. Henneberry said there were no signs of trauma to the man. The body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. His identity has not been determined.
